Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how MornUp collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our app, website, and related services.

Information we collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, account details, support messages, subscription status, and purchase entitlement status. If you use Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide an account identifier and, depending on your choices, your name or email address.

We may collect app setup and usage information needed to run MornUp, including wake-up goals, alarm names and times, repeat days, sounds, snooze choices, sleep reminders, wake-up checks, mission selections, onboarding answers, app settings, permission status, streaks, badges, wake-up history, response times, and related progress data.

We may collect device and diagnostic information such as device model, operating system version, app version, language, crash logs, performance data, and troubleshooting details when needed to operate, secure, debug, and support the app.

Mission photos, voice, and verification data

MornUp may use the camera for object, sky, bed, and push-up missions. MornUp may process mission photos to decide whether a mission is complete. Push-up camera frames may be processed to detect movement and count reps where the feature is available.

MornUp may use the microphone and speech recognition for spoken affirmation and Bible verse missions. Speech recognition may be provided by Apple or the device operating system, and you can manage microphone and speech recognition permissions in iOS settings.

For photo verification, MornUp may send an image and mission metadata to Supabase and an automated vision verification service. That metadata can include mission ID, mission type, object target, alarm session ID, mission index, attempt ID, and the time the photo was generated.

How we use information

We use information to provide the app, schedule and run alarms, verify missions, track streaks and history, sync signed-in progress, manage purchases, provide customer support, respond to deletion or privacy requests, prevent abuse, debug problems, and send important service updates.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product performance and improve MornUp without identifying individual users.

Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information only as needed to provide MornUp, comply with law, protect rights and safety, or work with service providers under appropriate restrictions.

Service providers and platform services may include Apple for Sign in with Apple, StoreKit, App Store purchases, notifications, AlarmKit, and speech recognition; RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management; Supabase for authentication, sync, account deletion requests, and mission image verification infrastructure; automated image verification providers; and email or support providers used to answer support requests.

App Store purchases and subscriptions

Apple handles App Store payment processing, billing, refunds, and subscription management. We do not receive your full payment card details from Apple.

RevenueCat may receive App Store purchase identifiers, customer identifiers, entitlement status, product identifiers, renewal status, and related transaction metadata so MornUp can unlock premium features and restore purchases.

Account deletion, retention, and local reset

Local app data stays on your device until you delete it, reset the app, or remove the app from the device. Signed-in sync data may be retained while your account is active so your alarms, progress, and purchase state can stay connected to your account.

You can request Account deletion in the app from Settings > Account Settings, or by contacting us at support@mornup.app. In-app deletion requests are queued for manual deletion within 7 days where applicable, then the device resets local MornUp data.

We may retain limited information longer if needed for legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, backups, or records that we are required or permitted to keep.

Your choices and rights

You can manage notifications, AlarmKit, camera, microphone, and speech recognition permissions in iOS settings. Some features may not work without the permissions they need.

You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings. You can also use Restore Purchase in MornUp where available to reconnect an App Store purchase.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain uses of personal information. Contact support@mornup.app to make a request.

Children's privacy

MornUp is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Those countries may have privacy laws different from your own. When information is transferred, we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information and service.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you, such as by updating the effective date or providing an in-app notice.
